How far in advance do I need to book a party?

While it can be possible to book us for a party the same day, it is unlikely that we will be available.  We have booked events as far as six months in advance.  It is best to book us at least a month or two in advance.  Please keep in mind we tend to be busier around the holidays!

 

All I want is someone to come and twist balloons.  Can you do that?

Yes! We will happily meet almost any entertainment request, no matter how elaborate or simple.  In addition to our party packages, we also offer entertainers at hourly rates, which are based upon the size of your function.

 

Will you travel?

Of course.  We are based in Birmingham, AL, but will happily go wherever we are needed.  Depending on the services booked and the distance involved, there will be an additional fee.

 

Should I tip the Entertainer? 

As in all service industries, gratuities are gratefully received but not required nor factored in our pricing.

 

What is your payment policy?

We require a retainer and a signed contract in order to secure your date and time.  We require payment in full on party day. Cash, check and electronic payments are accepted.

Do I have to pay sales tax? 

Everything we provide will be brought to your party as a part of a service.  Since there is no sales tax on service in the state of Alabama, where we are based, you will not have to pay sales tax on our service.

 

What is your Cancellation Policy?

We will handle cancellations on a case by case basis. The retainer is non-refundable but can be transferred to another party or used as credit on one of our other services or bouquets.

 

What will I need to provide?

Typically our entertainers will bring everything they need to get their job done right.  Although on those hot, Alabama summer days, a shady spot is best.  Also, a table is always helpful if you have an extra.

 

Does an entertainer do crowd control?

No.  There will need to be adults present to keep an eye on little ones running free while the entertainer focuses on his/her balloon work or face painting.  A party facilitator is available to be in charge of this for an additional fee or included in a couple of our bigger party packages.  For a bubble show, the entertainer will do crown control for the duration of the show.
